"I was born in 1914 on a farm near Nichols, Iowa. When I was
3 years of age we moved to a farm near Greeley, Neb. I started my
elementary education there. Later we moved to North Dakota on farms
at Blabon and Page."
"My education was continued in Brinktown, Mo.
where I graduated from Guardian Angel Parochial School. As there
wasn't a high school near there, my education ended at that time.
We moved back to Iowa in the late 1920's. I then worked as a domestic
for several families."
"I married Clarence Dietsch in 1938. We operated
a grocery business for 30 years. We raised a family of fine children
and have 6 grandchildren."
"In 1964 I earned a high school diploma through
a correspondence school, American School, Chicago, Ill. I was employed
by the University of Iowa from 1970 to 1980 in the Physical Education
Department."
