THURSDAY, FEB. 1, 1934 - Hung out clothes, baked bread. Sewed. Ed went in evening, letter from Mary.

FRIDAY, FEB. 2, 1934 - Groundhog saw its shadow. Went to Mass. Called on Mrs. Ed Sullivan, Mother, Reubens, Wieskamps. Ironed, men cut wood in P.M. Candlemas day.

SATURDAY, FEB. 3, 1934 - Went to Mass - papa and I, all the children, had our throats blessed, called on Mrs. Burris. Ed went to Muscatine in evening.

SUNDAY,FEB. 4, 1934 - All went to Mass. Paul stayed home, home had a meeting between Masses. Went to Wm. Milders in the P.M. Leonard very very croup - Baby had bad cold.

MONDAY, FEB. 5, 1934 - Washed - men helped Whites' saw wood. got the girls letter. Father Welch and Mrs. Burris called.

TUESDAY, FEB. 6, 1934 - Men helped Whites saw wood in forenoon Ed and Elizabeth went to Muscatine in the afternoon & Ed went with Louise to teach her driving. McNess man called.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 7, 1934 - Ironed - Men cut wood. Shipped hogs.

THURSDAY, FEB. 8, 1934 - Men cut wood. I went to A & R Society in the P.M. papa went to sale. 53 eggs.

FRIDAY, FEB. 9, 1934 - Reuben called in the morning. Ed, papa, and I went to Muscatine. I got a new dress and dripolater. Cold weather.

SATURDAY, FEB. 10, 1934 - Papa took the children to Bible class. Usual Saturday work.

SUNDAY, FEB. 11, 1934 -I stayed home. Ed went to Muscatine gave Louise a driving lesson. Papa and I went to Leo's in the evening.

MONDAY, FEB. 12, 1934 -Washed. Reuben here for dinner. Ed & Reuben cut wood. Papa went to sale.

TUESDAY, FEB. 13, 1934 - Reuben here for dinner. Papa went to sale, bought large disk & plow - Papa & I went to Card Party in eve - Rec'd letter from Mary.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 14, 1934 - Reuben here, all the men cut wood. Ed & Eliz. went to Muscatine, went to get the girls & went to devotions. Papa took the children to W.L. to devotions.

THURSDAY, FEB. 15, 1934 -Ed went to Lindles to work. Papa and I went to IA. City with Louise and Wilma. Louise had her eyes tested. Stopped at H.A.D's on way home. Papa & Eliz. took them home. L. came back.

FRIDAY, FEB. 16, 1934 -Papa, Louise, Elizabeth and Paul went to Ia. City. Louise got her eyes tested some more & glasses ordered. Papa took her home & went to devotions in Muscatine.

SATURDAY, FEB. 17, 1934 - Papa took the children to W. Liberty I went along. Called on Mrs. E. Sullivan and Fr. Welsh. and mother.

SUNDAY, FEB. 18, 1934 - All went to Mass. Eliz. turn to stay home.

MONDAY, FEB. 19, 1934 - Sewed - Papa went to sale- bought a rocking chair. Got the girl's letter, sent papa and Paul's Contest letter also letter to Aunt Minnie.

TUESDAY, FEB. 20, 1934 - Washed - Papa & Reuben cut wood - sent letter to girls- Elizabeth sent pictures, baked bread.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 21, 1934 - Ironed - Washed Curtains. Papa & R. cut wood in A.M. butchered & varnished rug for us in P.M. churned in eve - Ed Ed W. came in eve - sent order to M.W. & co.

THURSDAY, FEB. 22, 1934 - Butchered, Papa helped in the forenoon - Papa & I went to Muscatine in the P.M. chummed around with the girls.

FRIDAY, Feb. 23, 1934 -Sewed - Went to devotions in the evening. Held meeting at Anna's.

SATURDAY, FEB. 24, 1934 - Sewed and made boys shirts. Done Saturdays work. Girls and Ed came home in the evening - Ed Wieskamps came along. Started to snow.

SUNDAY, FEB. 25, 1934 -Went to Mass- Papa stayed home. Girls home. Ed W. drove the Chevrolet Ed M. - took the Ford & Paul, Maurice & Bernard. Had a nice day - Elizabeth & Paul went to the Whites in the evening.

MONDAY, FEB. 26, 1934 - Sewed - Papa took the kids to school - cold- Whites got the hog.

TUESDAY, FEB. 27, 1934 - Sewed - Papa took the kids to school again. Leo here in morning - Reuben and Myrtle came in evening.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 28, 1934 - Washed and sewed - Papa took the cream - Sealed the rent corn for the bank.
